Highlights Of Interim Budget 2019
Union Finance Minister Piyush Goyal presented the Interim Budget 2019-20 on February 1, 2019. The budget is mainly aimed at pleasing the three most important sections of the Society –
Farmers – income support scheme
Informal workers – insurance scheme and
Salaried taxpayers – tax exemptions .
Finance Minister Piyush Goyal also announced the creation of a Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme will provide income support to vulnerable landholding farmers.
